The Dabbling Duck has three owners, there are two local farmers who stepped in to save the pub from re-development in 2006, the third is Mark Dobby who was brought in to manage the pub in 2013. Mark has had excellent experience in award winning pubs and hotels for over ten years which has made him well-qualified to elevate the Dabbling Duck to another level. He is joined by his wife Sally, who is herself no stranger to hospitality having been co-owner of a local bistro for five years.
Their black Labrador Doris is also a regular in the bar! Sally is a professional photographer you may see some of her prints in the rooms and around the pub.
