Davenport family has celebrated over 90 years of business trading in the Northwich area and has a reputation for a quality afternoon tea experience after winning the Tea Guilds coveted Top Tea Room in the UK, the last ever winner. Offering over 50 specialist teas, uniquely brewing it according to leaf and to personal taste. With a wide range of afternoon teas on offer, there is something to suit most tastes and the themed afternoon teas such as Mad Hatters Tea Party, Victorian Christmas and Halloween can be booked many months in advance as people travel from far and wide to attend. You can also take a private Vintage Afternoon Tea Cruises, along the Trent & Mersey Canal or River Weaver which is located close by. One of the routes available includes passage on the famous Anderton Boat Lift, known as the Cathedral of the Waterways. This tea room has built its business on repeat and recommendations and is well worth a visit.
