At The Walled Garden Restaurant they take great pride in using the best local produce and their Lancashire Afternoon tea is no exception
Afternoon tea is served Friday to Sunday 14.30 – 17.00
The Walled Garden Restaurant occupies the site of what was originally Barton Grange’s kitchen vegetable plot. They felt that the garden with it’s mellow brick walls and pergola would make a good foundation for the bistro – and they liked the idea of retaining it’s culinary purpose – so they covered it with a roof and filled it with tables and chairs. Diners can now relax over their meals in the conservatory, enjoy semi-private dining in the summer house – or even gather around the sink in the old wash house, should they choose!
At The Walled Garden Restaurant they take great pride in using the best local produce and their Lancashire Afternoon tea is no exception. Afternoon tea includes a selection of freshly made sandwiches with traditional fillings, a Lancashire warm savoury, fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, a selection of traditional cakes & cream fancies. Served with as much tea and filter coffee as you like! Or, go for the Gentleman’s afternoon tea for a twist!
