You simply can’t avoid the wonderful history of Glasgow and The Citizen is a prime example. Located in Scotland’s first red sandstone building, that are often associated with old Glasgow, The Citizen boasts a stunning interior too. House for an Art Lover Best Afternoon Tea

Art Lover’s Cafe
Bellahouston Park

Glasgow’s city centre is one of the best; a shopping haven, vibrant, and, most famously, friendly. However, for our final recommendation we’ve decided to take you out of town. Last, but not least, its Art Lover’s Cafe at House for an Art Lover.

House for an Art Lover is an art gallery and exhibition space, events venue, cafe and much more. Inspired by the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh (so much of Glasgow is inspired by the famous architect, no wonder our list is too) the beautiful venue is set within the scenic grounds of Bellahouston Park.

Afternoon tea is served in the bright, airy and peaceful Art Lover’s Cafe. The food is delicious and the perfect serving size that won’t make you feel heavy – ideal for a post-indulgence walk around the beautiful grounds to see the art work and gardens.

If you’re looking for a wonderfully tasty experience and a peaceful escape from the city centre, without traveling too far, then Art Lover’s cafe is a must.
