Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham, Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever.

The Woodlands Park afternoon tea in Surrey offers the perfect opportunity for friends and family to get together and celebrate a special occasion. Whatever the occasion, you can chose to enjoy the freshly prepared afternoon tea in either the Grand Hall –  a special feature of any stay at Woodlands Park with its stained glass windows in the ceiling, beautiful woodwork and a feature fireplace, or the majestic yet intimate dining room, which is ornately panelled with dark oak
